For all you T.O. haters out there, this is some refreshing news.  Here's a piece from Harvey Falkov of the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel:

DAVIE · With his franchise quarterback safely tucked away, Dolphins coach Nick Saban has no plans to bring in outspoken Pro Bowl wide receivers Terrell Owens and Keyshawn Johnson.

"I think we have two really good receivers. We have Chris Chambers, who went to the Pro Bowl, and Marty Booker, one of the leaders in yards per catch," Saban said. "If we could find someone who would complement those guys, that would certainly be something that would be a secondary priority on offense if we had the opportunity to do it."

The Dolphins have already lost backup receiver Bryan Gilmore to the 49ers, and they brought in former Patriots receiver David Givens before his price tag proved too steep.

Owens and Johnson were released by the Eagles and Cowboys, respectively, this week to avoid paying roster bonuses. Owens, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, has left a trail of dissension behind in his last two stops in Philadelphia and San Francisco.

"I'm not trying to be the highest-paid wide receiver. I'm not trying to be the second highest-paid wide receiver," Owens said during an interview on Sirius NFL radio Wednesday. "I just want to be compensated fairly for the abilities I display on the football field. Be it San Diego, San Francisco, Kansas City, Seattle, Carolina, Miami, Minnesota, Dallas again, I don't really care.

"I just want to be appreciated for what I do on the field and, you know, if you want to pay me $2 million, I'll give you $2 million worth of work. I'll play 30 plays a game for you."

Saban has repeatedly expressed his disdain for selfish players, so Owens and Johnson don't seem to fit his bill.

Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor has gone on record several times as being opposed to having Owens as a teammate.

Johnson's agent Jerome Stanley said he has not heard from the Dolphins and doesn't plan on calling them.

"I'm not calling anyone," Stanley said. "Wherever Keyshawn plays, he's a good fit. ... [The Dolphins are] a great organization, great team and have a great quarterback. He really hasn't gotten into [naming] his teams."

Johnson, who turns 34 in July, led the Cowboys with 71 catches last season for 839 yards and six touchdowns.

I wish Denver would become uninterested in Owens too. Hopefully Dallas lands him. I want Moulds !

I am happy not to have T.O..  I think that we have enough project players: Boston, Ricky, etc.

Too much of that is a bad thing.

I can't believe you're surprised by this.  Does Saban seem like the type of coach to put up with self-centered players?

I'm not surprised.  Disappointed maybe, but not surprised.

t.o has a point though, i mean he is the best receiver in the nfl and when he does play, there is not another athelete that can match up with him on the field. but...

man i was thinking that at least for the upcoming year he would be the "angel" type so that he could collect a large payday the following year. you know, kinda make people forget the past, and then cash in. however, everyday that passes, this guy is acting more and more friggin turdish. i mean now he comes out and says that if he gets a 2 mil, one year deal basically thats how he is gonna play. wow, what an a hole... basically signing him now is gonna require a long term deal with plenty upfront $$$. good luck with that you ass...

Apparently, we upgraded our wide receivers from "decent" to "really good."  When did this happen?

After Saban made the "decent" remarks back during the season and Chambers got a fire lit under his @$$.
