I'll miss Tags as the commish...he definitely was a sharp businessman who did well by the league. did he name a successor? I fear for the future of the league. He was a worthy commissioner.
From the article on ESPN.com: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2376850"Roger Goodell, the NFL's chief operating officer, and Atlanta general manager Rich McKay are the two leading candidates to succeed Tagliabue. Baltimore Ravens president Dick Cass is considered a dark horse."If Rich McKay gets the job, look for Michael Vick to retire from playing to become the NFL's Chief Underachievement Officer

"There's no such thing as objectivity. We're all just interpreting signals from the universe and trying to make sense of them. Dim, shaky, weak, staticky little signals that only hint at the complexity of a universe that we cannot begin to comprehend." ~ Micah Leggat

Does this mean an end to the No Fun League ?
It may not be, because on the radio today I heard that Condoleeza Rice wants to throw her name in the hat for next NFL Commissioner. As if she doesn't have enough to do already.
