But what would someone that know what they are talking about do?

The same exact thing.  Those guys are like Jerome Bettis.  Past their prime and can't handle a full workload anymore, but can still get like 10-15 carries per game and be effective.

'07 Phins Team Photo

A source claimed a couple of weeks ago that is was an amphetamine or metamphetamine.  This ranges from diet pills to Ecstasy/X.

You Ricky lovers are laughable.  The guy has tested positive 3 times for banned substance already, but the NFL screwed him on the 4th one?

He won't take it to court because he will lose there too.  He had to prove his innocence and he failed.  Wake up.  And, please, never be on a jury.

Couldn't have said it any better, The_Phinatic.

Should be BANNED for life! And he said he looks forward to playing in 2007...whatta joke   Cheesy Cheesy

Physical Specimen?  Let's not get too carried away there.  He was a solid NFL back for literally 1 and 1/2 seasons.  The rest of his career were mired with fumbles and off-the-field drama

I meant physical specimen in the same way that Jevon Kearse is a physical specimen;  he has ridiculous athletic ability.  I wasn't calling him a hall of fame back or anything, although he might've been if he'd kept his nose clean.

Believe me, I don't defend the guy, or think the NFL was out to get him, or shafted him, or whatever.  I just lament the fact that an exceptional running back has been lost to the team....

I, too, pray for Ronnie Brown's health, McDuff...

well this sux, but whatever... have to move on. basically this pretty much means that the phins need to get out of the #16 in order to pick up another pick. if we can trade out and get a second or third rounder, with a low first round, we'll be in good shape.

No way I move out of 16.

let's see... now we need the following:

ol, s, cb, olb, rb, wr, dt, qb??, others??

point is, we are still waaayyyyy off from being a solid playoff team and in a position to compete with new england. a good draft can close the gap even further, see last year as how many impact players saban scrounged with little ammo. right now we only have 6 picks and 3 of those are 7th rounders! this draft is very deep at certain positions especially the ones that we are in need of (s, cb, rb, etc...). saban is looking to move down (unless by miracle some top player free falls like say huff), and don't be suprised when tags announces the phins trade out of the spot on saturday.

that is what I want.. trade to late in the 1st/early in the second for a 2nd or 3rd round pick..It makes me impatient waiting for us to pick, but it is better for the team.

Sorry to see him gone, i was a big fan i have to admit.

But on the other hand Fuck him though, i've no doubt that Saban will make it work regardless.

I think my 10-6 prediction for the season could now be in Jeopardy!!

Have faith in Saban.. He'll go out and get a legit backup for Ronnie before training camp. I wonder if this will change the emphasis of the first round. Any chance we now lean more towards offense(WR) because of the Ricky suspension?

No one person is more important than the TEAM

Ricky is clearly not a player that can be depended upon, and therefore is NOT this team's superstar.

We have more important people involved that are bigger pieces of the puzzle than this piece of crap.

Thanks for nothing, loser!

Work a year ... take off a year. Work another year ... take off another year. Sounds to me as if Ricky has the right idea.

See you in 2007 with open arms Rick!!!  Wink

So gaining over 7000 yards in six seasons shows that he was only a solid back for 1.5 years. He was a solid back for his career and an exceptional back for one season would be a more accurate description.
