Thats because smoking weed is more "socially acceptable", but now that he has stepped up to amphetamines or narcotics he is being dishonest, like "hey, you know i only smoke weed." BS my friend.

Could be speed, could be "beanies" could be "X", could be a herbal supplement that had a trace of that stuff in it.  We still don't know and probably never will.

No it couldn't.  The poppy seed thing was resolved years ago with drug testing.  Even before then, it would have taken more than the normal human can consume for a false positive to show up.

The silliness continues.  Drug testing is far more advanced than fans want to believe it is.  Why do the other 50+ members of the Dolphins team not have this drug issue??  Because they are smart enough not to take banned substances. 

If the system was as flawed as some of you make it out to be then half the team would be suspended!  I've heard cold medicine, alka seltzer, bagels, yoga herbs, and other BS will cause false positives, etc.  It's all mularkey.  If it was that cut and dry the NFL would have let Ricky off IMO.  It's not that easy though.  It's sophisticated equipment with great sensitivity and specifity for the substances it seeks.  Players are educated on what not to ingest.  Don't you think if poppy seed bagels caused false positives that Ricky and all the other NFL players would be told not to eat them??? Hello!
