Or, a dream come true . If Vick actually does make it that far and shows some dedication throughout the year (includes not getting into trouble), there's a good chance we could convert him into a mid-round draft pick.

That said, it seems like our coaches really like Lemon. That's going to make it VERY hard for Vick to get a spot (I don't see us keeping 4 quarterbacks, although an injurred #1 is the best excuse to actually do just that). Basically, he would have to convince Saban that he's starting material with a bit of development.

I don't see why the coaches like Lemon so much.  I don't know too much about his college career, but he has never thrown a pass in the NFL.  Vick, on the other hand, did it all in college.

I read that somewhere. With practice time coming up Culpepper is injured & Berlin is in Europe. They need someone to throw the ball.
