How about seathing ? You guys must be. Cutler with a side order of Javon Walker. Ok, now i can't wait for all of you to tell me how much Cutler sucks now.

Shanny's genius strikes again. Oh, by the way we picked up the leading sacker in NCAA last year just for good measure.  Cheesy

Your team had a great draft, Blowhard, er, Bronco...As for Cutler, we'll see, won't we?  A lot of people liked him, but a lot of people also liked Jeff George, and Tim Couch, and Heath Shuler, and Rick Mirer, and Akili Smith, and David Klingler, and Jim Druckenmiller, and Tommy Maddox, and Dan McGuire, and Todd Marinovich, and Andre Ware, and Dave Brown, and Cade McNown.....I can't remember any more, but I know there are others.

And for a guy who spent so much time "ROFL"ing about the Dolphins ending up with a quarterback with a busted knee, you sure seem happy to get a receiver with...a busted knee.  Good luck with that, Charlie.  It's not like Walker has the option to stay in the pocket; he actually has to, you know, run to get the job done.

As for your pass rusher extraordinaire...he's 5'11".  I hope he can play some 'backer, because at 5'11" there's no way his arms are long enough to get around a 6'7" tackle.

Having said all of that, Denver was very aggressive and took smart chances in this draft, and possibly set itself up well.

The reason i am excited about getting Javon Walker is because i was certain that acquiring him would involve losing Ashley Lelie.  I am not really too excited about Walker for this coming season. I am excited about the Cutler/Walker combo for the future.

OK, now THAT makes sense.  I must say I was impressed by the Broncos as the draft wore on.  Like I said, they gambled, but I think they made smart gambles.  I'm glad you're not expecting that much from Walker in his first year back.  He'll still be pretty good, but he'll struggle to get open.  (It took Edgerrin James almost 2 years to regain that "explosivenes" he had before he tore up his knee, same with Willis McGahee)

I don't get the Broncos draft.

First, let me start by saying that I am jealous that you guys got Cutler and I wish he fell to Miami.  But that's not my problem with it.

I just feel that the Broncos could have done more to address immediate needs with their 2 1st round picks.  This is a team that made it to the AFC championship game and hasn't lost that much in the offseason.  A good RB in Denver is automatic and Putzier vacancy should be filled by Wesley Duke.  So a team that should be one or two pieces away from SB caliber should draft to fill thse pieces.  Instead Denver drafts a QB of the future and trades for a WR also for the future (according to Denver_Bronco).  It just doesn't make sense to me.  Actually, it makes about as much sense to me as the Dolphins drafting Jamar Fletcher (not that I think Cutler=Fletcher).
