Well we know how the offense looks pretty much, but what do you guys think of the defense and special teams?

Do we have enough speed in the secondary to cover speedy recievers?

what do you guys feel about how we look so far, better than last yr or worse?

just thought i'd ask some questions to see what's on everyones mind.

I think the secondary is improved compared to last years team.  A combination of Allens will be able to replace Madison, Travis Daniels will have improved, and I believe Renaldo Hill and Deke Cooper can fill the gaping hole at the safety spot (plus no more reggie howard...)

Special teams looks pretty much the same, unless Aromashodu can step in and help Welker in the return game like some say he can.

I'm also excited to see Will Poole finally play.

The secondary is young, and should be an aggressive bunch.

I have concerns about the font seven,Crowder seems to be pretty good, and the knock on him was injury concerns. The other OLB spot vacated by J.Seau kind of has me wondering if Spragan,Hodge,Pope can step up and be more than a stop gap.Zach will go sideline,to sideline for atleast 12 games.

I feel we were fairly lucky to make it through the season last year relatively healthy in the D-line.I just hope that we can this year,we're pretty old,or inexperienced there.

I think our defense will be slightly better than average this year, ranked 13th - 15th.Some games they'll look unstoppable, some games they'll look like a crab trying to stop a wave from hitting the beach.I think with a lot of young players on the defense,it will be inconsistant.

Excited as hell.  FEEL THESE NIPPLES!!!  Gonna stay positive and say better than last year, not to mention our division rivals are going down in flames.

Definitely lots of depth in the secondary, young as it is.  The entire D-line returns, and was highly effective last year (tied the club record for sacks, if I remember correctly).  4 young defensive tackles, each with some potential.  Nice linebacking crew.

An offense loaded with players in their primes...

Yeah, I'm excited.  I'm not about to sing "And when you say Miami, you're talking S***R  B**L" but still...I'm excited.
