who do u think will be the most improved teamin the NFL in 2006?

I would have to say the Saints.  The Drew Brees and Reggie Bush duo sounds really good.  Hopefully their o-line makes this happen.

The Saints are a good bet.

I think the Packers might also be a good choice.

The PACKERS?

What the hell have the Packers done?  They've let Free Agent after Free Agent pass them by, all because of the idiot Brett Favre.

They are possibly one of the most unimproved NFL team of '06.

I'll give my vote to Arizona.  Two stud wide receivers, a stud running back, drafted a nice TE in Leonard Pope...

They could go from 5-11 to between 8-8 and 10-6.

They play S.F. and St. Louis twice, Oakland, Green Bay, Detroit, Minnesota...

I would probably vote for the Saints too except they are in the toughest division in the NFC; Carolina, Atlanta and Tampa Bay.

I think Arizona is gonna tank just like they did last year.

You know who might actually make some waves this year? The Browns!!! Now don't get me wrong, at the very most they could sneak into the playoffs just because their division sucks, but at the least they could double their wins from last year.

I know that the Packers sucked last year and everything, but Favre had a terrible year, and they had bad luck.  I still think they'll suck, but teams that normally are winners sometimes have fluke bad years and then come back up again.  Look at the Fins....we sucked bad for one year and then came back to at least being respectable.

Arizona, on the other hand, while they look to have improved, are always bad.  ...even when they're supposed to be a little better, they never are.  If they are going to be a better team, I believe it will come more slowly.

Once again John, you take the words right out of my mouth.  First team that popped into my head.

A little biased are we scar?   I'm not a fan of the division but it seems to me the Giants, Cowboys, Redskins and Eagles seems to be the toughest division in the NFC.   At least that is how it seems to an outside observer.

With that said I believe Arizona is on the upswing. Maybe not this whole year as thier QB is young but by the end of the year no one will want to play them.

Dennis Green says he's starting Kurt Warner this year so he can bring Leinart along slowly.

Hmm... thanks.  I thought Kurt went somewhere else.  Anquan Bolden, Edge and Warner.  It has potential. Edge alone will make Warner look better.

Sadly, I'm going to put Denver into this thread.  I think they've made alot of good moves and if Javon Walker can stay healthy, that's a huge improvement.

That said, I like the Arizona pick.  Edge alone makes the difference, and I expect Leinart to be starting by week 6, most likely due to a Warner injury.

(Then everyone will get to see why I've been saying Leinart is a fraud)

Denver was 1 game from the SB - not much room for improvement.  Also when you say they made a lot of good moves, what are you talking about?

They had a strong draft and traded for one of their weakest positions in a premiere player.  I think their defense will be improved, and they will open up their passing game with Walker.

I'd have to say Arizona and Cleveland are the two teams that I felt really improved their teams the most this offseason, with the Saints a close third.

My 49ers should be in that mix, but it's hard for the layman to distinguish between complete total suckiness and just extreme suckiness.  Undecided
