Reggie Bush has a strained hamstring.

I had a feeling he was a bust. He hasnt even been to a real practice yet.

I wouldn't call it a bust.  He's gonna learn that he can't sit out with those nagging injuries now or he will fall behind quickly.

He had a four-year scholarship at USC.  This is a job now.  It's day-to-day.  He could lose his scholarship tomorrow.

Frimp, I am glad you and I can agree on this. I was never sold on him as a team savior.

Willie Parker, Tatum Bell, Reggie Bush. All the same player.

Oh, he'll be better than all those guys, for sure.  The thing that worries me about him is this:  He's so great as a running back and receiver and returner, right?  Do you risk putting this guy out there to return punts and kicks?  Anyone remember what happened to Troy Vincent when Miami put him out there for a kickoff return?  I think the Saints' plan to use him in every facet of the game opens him up to some vicious, nasty, season-ending type of hits on special teams.

I think Bush is the real deal.  I think that these QBs are much more likely to bust: Leinart and Young could be goose eggs.

I'd like to reiterate what I've been sayhing since last year:

Matt Leinart is a fraud.

That is all.

My nominee for the most ridiculous comment to come out of D_B's keyboard this offseason....

Wow, just wow. Tell me about all of those NFL games that Reggie has played that tells me i should think any differently ?

Until the day he actually proves anything on an NFL playing field he is Ron Dayne Jr. Just a guy with a Heisman trophy, buddy... Roll Eyes

Sometimes it's the system, not the player.  Leinart has all the right guys around him to do well.

Actually, I agree with this statement. Bush hasn't been to a real practice yet, and he already has a strained hamstring. Until he proves otherwise, he's a bust...Or to hit closer to home, a Yatil Green.

.... so far.

Com'on stroke, there's still 3 months left.   By the time the season rolls around this won't even be top 10 for ol' D_B.

Valid point... I just snorted pepsi out of my nostrils so hard when I read Reggie Bush and Tatum Bell in the same sentence that I had to say something. Any team in the NFL would be ecstatic to get Reggie Bush on their roster.

So you laughed as hard as i did when the 9ers drafted Alex Smith #1 ? If any team would be so ecstatic to have the guy why didn't Houston take him ?
