I caught a bit of Ace Ventura the other day and was wondering if there really was a missed kick that lost the Super Bowl for the Dolphins. I don't know much about the Dolphins history and my NFL knowledge starts in late 90's.

no, there was no missed kick.   all you have to do is search NFL.com's superbowl history

i got a Question for you guys about this?

How would you react if this really did happen to us. losing the superbowl by a missed kick.

It would be better than the pasting we got in the last superbowl but it would still suck. I pray that it doesn't take us much longer than the next five years to make it to the SB, but when we do ... I want to win and win big.

Have any of you ever been sitting in a bar, and someone sees you wearing a Dolphins hat, and comes up,and introduces themselves as a fellow Dolphins fan, and tells you of their history as a Dolphins fan, going back to the 72 undefeated season, and then proceeds to tell you how devastated they were when Ray Finkle missed that kick?

That's happened to me twice. Once, I let the guy have it, and embarassed him. The other time, I just played along.  Grin Grin
