Dolphin-UK is likely coming across the pond for this game.  I'd like to see Lil B and Frimp and Philly and other out-of-towners make the trip as well.

Well looks like the gauntlet is thrown down, I'm still working on this one but I'll try and make it, it depends on my cash flow situation :-)

Don't worry about the cash flow situation at all...I'll buy your first beer. Wink

If NBC snatches this game and makes it primetime, will we be able to tailgate all day?

Then we'll be too drunk to walk in.

Why not?  What does TV coverage have to do with tailgating?  We'll be able to tailgate from 10 AM to kickoff, regardless of when kickoff is.

Although, the Vikings are going to be so terrible, I can't imagine NBC making it prime time...

I really wasn't sure what game I was going to try to attend...But Brian pretty much made up my mind for me a while back, when  Phinatic, was offering his package.... Grin

I don't have my Funding yet,and I'm getting a little nervous...So I'm not going to commit one,way or another...

BUT....

This is what I've found in my research...
I'm Keeping tabs,on airline tickets...I've found a package for $400 round trip ($248 to St.Pete then $141 to Ft Lauderdale)....I thought I lost it for awhile...that's for Spending pretty much all day traveling Thursday Nov. 16,then Leaving Tues. Nov. 21....(spending all day traveling)

Now,I'm off to scour that Hotel/motel for that time period that was like $300-$400

I've taken in to consideration,I could get Bumped from a flight,Delays,Possible Hurricanes,If they Move the Game to Sunday night...Stuff like that....

I've also added in $200 for food,$300 walking around cash, and $200 for emergency fund...

I've not looked into a ticket for the game, and Possibly having to rent a car.

So I'm doing my research.....

I've also considered...
I've thought about Driving it...I have a few friends that have drove o wlat disney world...They said it was just over a 24 hour drive...So how many hours to Miami from Orlando? If I had a signifgant other,I'd definately be driving....

Orlando to Miami is about 3 hours.

I'm offering a free shuttle pickup from the airport to your hotel for out of town guests.

As for getting closer to the stadium -- not really.  Since we want to be together, we have to use the cash lot, unless we'll be buying a parking pass for every car that's coming through.  Another option is parking wherever and then all meeting a the one car that's parked close.

OK guys, here's the deal.....

My flight is going to cost me around $900 SO I'm thinking that if I'm doing this I want to make it worthwhile.

What my plan is currently is, to travel out arounf the 10th, go to the KC game, spend a week in Miami, Tailgate with you guys and see the Vikes game, then travel home two days later.

What I need to know is:

Is there stuff to keep me amused during the week bearing in mind I might be on my own.
Can you recommend a hotel which is suitable location bearing in mind I will not be hiring a car.

Other questions as i think of them

Cheers.
