First Patriots free Super Bowl since the 2015-2016 season.

You can thank Fitzmagic and the Dolphins for that.

You can thank your former QB, the Comeback Player of the Year for that.

The officiating definitely favored KC, that's for sure.

One question, after the final touchdown, wouldn't it be better NOT to try the extra point and just take a knee?  By trying the extra point, you leave the option open of a block being run back for two points, making it a one score game.

Was it just me, or was that an unusually fast game? I thought it was a good game though.

This was Patrick Mahomes best game as a pro.  Not his greatest, but his best.  He really grew up last night.   It's easy to lead your team to victory when you have it.  Last night, he clearly didn't have it.   And he still found a way to lead his team to victory.

Mahomes is lucky former Dolphins Damien Williams balled out, he was the true MVP.  17 carries, 104 yards, 4 catches, 29 yards, 2 TDs.  Mahomes didn't deserve it, two INTs and a fumble.  Obviously, he's the NFL's golden boy and they want Mahomes to be the face of the NFL.

It did seem to go fast. I was really surprised how fast the half came up.

How often has that happened in NFL history?  By scoring an extra point SF needed a FG, TD and a 2pt conversation to tie...otherwise the could have tied with FG, TD and PAT.  Given how easy PATs are relative to 2pts it was a no-brainer.

The ONLY time it wold make sense to just take a knee rather than attempt a PAT or two point conversion would be extremely late in the game (only a few seconds) and leading by 1.

Dolphins didn’t end the Patriots season, Titans did.

Is that why the officiating was so horrible in the Super Bowl, and so horrible in the AFC title game last year?

Also, 49ers fans are all over Jimmy G, saying that he sucks.

I know a few hundred 49ers fans...and zero of them are saying that.

Wait...was that just one of your ridiculous out-of-left-field comments that is designed solely to get a reaction?

My bad...

Hell of a year for your team, Sunstroke.  And what an improvement from last year.  Plenty for ya'll to hold your head high about.  I can't say one thing or another about the game because literally the only part I watched was Shakira shaking her azz at halftime.  I didn't watch one play of the game or Jennifer Lopez.

Also, I read through the live blog during the game, and many of the 49ers fans were criticizing Jimmy G.
