Starting from scratch

In the past two weeks, the new-look Miami Dolphins have looked unstoppable. Coming off of their second straight win, this is a team that has scored 81 points in the past two games, eclipsing their total from the first 4 combined. Granted, no one had Houston or Tennessee penciled in on their NFL playoff predictions sheets.

But there is something to be said for this turnaround. What seemed like players going through the motions and collecting million-dollar paychecks in the first 4 weeks, now appears to be inspired, motivated, and exciting football. Is this the Dan Campbell difference?

Escape From DC

With the highest expectations for this Miami Dolphins' team in years, anything less than a romp of the lowly Redskins on opening day would prove to be a complete disaster. Perhaps that's why the fan community is already in panic mode, despite the Dolphins' 17-10 victory on Sunday.

It wasn't a pretty win, but the game wasn't as close as the score indicated. Jarvis Landry's 69 yard punt return put the Dolphins ahead for good in the 4th quarter. But, you can't count on special teams to bail you out every week.
